Gary & Julie Read
Owners
Gary and Julie, husband and wife since 1985, are both passionate about bringing you the best in quality flavour and service. Both play slightly different roles in the business, Gary’s is centered around the shop with a huge focus on sourcing the best products available from producers and wholesalers Australia-wide, while all the time keeping the value viable without comprimising quality or taste. Julie’s is centered around the farmers markets, HR, Accounts and Administration.

When they’re not looking after the business, Gary and Julie are usually found…well….probably sleeping….or on Facetime with their gorgeous Grandson, Toby, who lives in NSW with their daughter Chloe and son-in-law, Braeden.

You will never walk away from the counter feeling down once you’ve had a few minutes with our Eddie – the epitome of a happy butcher! A well-respected part of our team, our shop just isn’t the same when Eddie’s not there.
His knowledge of the trade, his genuine nature, his his ability to mentor our juniors and his overall ability keeps us very secure in the knowledge our shop is in great hands.
